Charlie Petunia is celibate. He was born into a family of shrinks on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. His

brother Michael is recently married to Vivian, who is screwing his other brother Adrian, who is a sex addict.

At the wedding, Charlie meets George (Vivian’s cousin) and falls out of his celibacy… only problem is –

George is married to his high school sweetheart, Robin. The boys parents, Felicia and Percy Petunia have

grown tired of each other after twenty‐five years…and Felicia isn’ taking getting older laying down…well,

maybe she is.

“petunia”is the story of a family whose growth is stunted…a family that learns how to love themselves

while loving each other (a little too much).

At twenty years old, Ash Christian wrote, directed and starred in his first feature film FAT GIRLS alongside

Jonathan Caouette (TARNATION) and Robin DeJesus (CAMP, IN THE HEIGHTS, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES). FAT GIRLS had

its world premiere at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival to critical acclaim. FAT GIRLS sold to Regent Entertainment and

hit theaters nationwide. Ash has appeared in shows such as “Ugly Betty”, “Cold Case”, “Law and Order” and “Six Feet

Under”. Ash was a producer on “Next to Normal”, which is currently on Broadway. The show was nominated for 11

Tony Awards and won the Pulitzer Prize for drama. A national tour begins in November. He is currently in post

production on “Mangus!”, a dark comedy starring Jennifer Coolidge (Legally Blonde, Best in Show), Heather

Matarazzo (Princess Diaries, Welcome to the Dollhouse), Leslie Jordan (Emmy Winner for Will and Grace) and John

Waters.

Jordan Yale Levine holds the distinction of being one of the youngest film/television producers in the Hollywood

game. Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Jordan who demonstrated a knack for entrepreneurship at a very

early age, moved to Los Angeles at the age of nineteen with a commitment to success in the entertainment industry.

Jordan has been responsible for the producing, financing and/or distribution of over a dozen feature films, including

"Blood Ties," and "Death's Door."

Susan Shopmaker is a renowned New York based casting director. Her credits include “Mean Girls”, “The Holiday”,

“Hedwig and the Angry Inch”, “Shortbus”, “Enchanted”, “Party Monster”, “Glory Road” and “Somethings Gotta

Give”.
